This year’s Taurus New Moon, is in the first Decan of the sign, sub-ruled by Venus, the overall planet guide of the sign, which, just happens to have had it’s third and final conjunction with strict Saturn, the planet of consequences in the sign of culmination, for us all collectively, Pisces. This won’t be repeated for at least another 28 years, but it goes us an insight into the energies that are sharply in focus on this lunation.

Whilst Mars and Pluto in their Opposition are slightly wider at just over 4 degrees a way in the T Square, because that energy has dominated the last week, it is likely going to be prevalent in the next month, the period of influence.

The Fixed Star Schedir IS exactly conjunct the Sun and Moon, and can be telling, especially with a preoccupation with money and materialism, and of course Taurus can be about everyday resources, our values, self worth, sensual pursuits and what we may be rather too attached to.

That the main three protagonists are all in Fixed signs where unyielding, inflexible positions (earth quakes too – which I did predict in March for April, sadly), points to the telling battle of wills playing out around Tariffs, especially with the egotistical potential of Mars in Leo, in it’s less positive manifestation, but then hey, pride (ha) can come before a fall!

Speaking of which, Uranus, in its Fall, in Taurus, after its chaotic impact seen the seeding chart of May 2018 when it squared Mars, ironically, does bring some potential, and unexpected relief in its Sextile to Venus and Saturn.

This might be a series of unexpected (or now routine) U Turns, or a growing understanding that macro economics when fiddled with by ill thought through agenda’s can affect things very much at the micro level, with increases in the cost of living and affect voter intention and sentiment, just about quicker than anything else.

So, financial strands are likely to remain very unstable, but what this New Moon will do is tease into the open the situations where people don’t share our values, or want to impose theirs on us, in an overbearing way.
