Uranus goes direct on the 4th, and on the face of it this may see hope of a less unsettled time for us all, when it comes to everyday finances, property and personal values. Don’t be kidded. Mercury forges the first square, followed by, in week three, the Sun, and also the Solar Eclipse of the 17th, the first in Aquarius for eight years. With Mars then forging an abrasive right angle to Uranus in the last week, turbulence is possible around equities, commodities and on the world stage.
Why? Well, the Aquarius energy that greets us as we enter February is met by the Moon on the 1st, and pushes us to work collectively, but also get in touch with our higher purpose. Uranus, detrimented in Taurus and in his Fall, has inflicted plenty of challenges over the last seven years, but is heading towards an exit on the 26th, of April, when he returns to the lighter, more communicative Gemini.
That said, as February unfolds, the arrival of first Mercury and Venus in Pisces, and the exit of Saturn on the 14th to Aries, which could be seminal for some Valentine dates, followed by the Sun’s return to the Fishes on the 18th, heralds a time when we have a chance to embrace a gentler, more healing dimension.
Still, the 20th does see Saturn and Neptune in an exact conjunction for the first time since December 1989, when the Berlin Wall fell, but there were also the brutal events at Tiananmen Square. So something big may well be in the works, be it USA, Russia, Iran, Ukraine, Palestine, or more revelations around public figures. Saturn is in his Fall in Aries, so very much not his best location. Saturn the planet of outcomes and consequences impacting on “individiulity” that is not set or has been over forced.
And yet some magic is possible, despite these potential tensions in the last week, as Venus and Jupiter forge a beautiful and enabling trine, wonderful for a first date and a romantic night. But with Mercury tracking back in a retrograde from the 26th, meet-ups and discussions could be fluid.
Aries 21 March – 20 April
February marks a significant turning point for you, Aries, as Saturn re-enters your sign on the 14th. This is the start of a new personal cycle that asks you to take yourself, your goals and your long-term direction more seriously. Responsibilities may increase, but so does your sense of authority and focus. Early in the month, the Leo Full Moon on the 1st highlights creativity, romance or matters involving playfulness, bringing feelings to a peak. The Solar Eclipse on the 17th can bring sudden shifts around friendships or future plans, prompting you to reassess where you belong. A clash around finances is possible in the last week, as your ruler tangles with Uranus.
Taurus 21 April – 21 May
The Leo Lunation on the 1st can bring domestic or family matters to a head, asking you to balance personal needs with outer-world demands. The Aquarius Solar Eclipse on the 17th may trigger changes in your career direction or public role, especially if something no longer aligns with your values. As the month closes, supportive influences help you feel quietly optimistic about the future, even if the path ahead is still taking shape. If you are a natural bohemian or yearn for a more expressive life role, you may rebel in the final week.
Gemini 22 May – 21 June
Your ambitions are stirred this February, Gemini, with activity building at the top of your chart. Mercury’s move into Pisces on the 6th, followed by Venus on the 10th, brings both opportunity and sensitivity around career and reputation. You may be inspired to pursue a dream, though clarity may take time to emerge. The Solar Eclipse on the 17th can open a new chapter involving travel, education or a fresh outlook on life. Mercury’s retrograde from the 26th suggests reviewing plans rather than rushing decisions. Yet a sensitive issue may surface in the last week.
Cancer 22 June – 23 July
February invites you to broaden your horizons, Cancer, and to reconnect with what gives life meaning. The Full Moon on the 1st highlights finances or personal values, bringing awareness around what you truly need to feel secure. As Pisces energy builds, you may feel drawn to learning, travel or spiritual interests that expand your perspective. Yet in the last half of February, tensions can amp up in financial or professional partnerships, where you feel your values just do not align. You may decide to choose freedom over a settled income.
Leo 24 July – 23 August
With a Full Moon in your sign on the 1st, February begins with you firmly in the spotlight. Emotions run high and something personal may reach a culmination, allowing you to express yourself more fully. Relationships are a key theme this month, especially as the Solar Eclipse on the 17th brings changes in how you relate to others. Some Leos may experience a turning point in a partnership, while others redefine what they want from close connections. As the month unfolds, deeper emotional and financial considerations come into focus, encouraging trust and honesty.
Virgo 24 August – 23 September
Relationships take centre stage from the 6th, 10th and 18th, Virgo, as Pisces influences highlight one-to-one connections. This can encourage empathy, dialogue and emotional openness, though boundaries may need careful handling. The Full Moon on the 1st draws attention to rest, wellbeing and the importance of listening to your body. A powerful Solar Eclipse on the 17th can bring changes around work or daily routines, helping you release habits that no longer serve you. By month’s end, a more balanced and supportive rhythm is within reach.
Libra 24 September – 23 October
The Solar Eclipse on the 17th brings creative or romantic developments, possibly awakening a passion that has been dormant. Early in the month, the Leo Full Moon highlights friendships or group activities, showing you where support is available. As Venus, your ruler, aligns helpfully later in the month, enjoyment and ease return, reminding you that pleasure and productivity can coexist. Indeed, a gentler approach encourages you to work smarter rather than harder.
Scorpio 24 October – 22 November
The Full Moon on the 1st brings career matters or public responsibilities to a peak, asking you to balance ambition with personal fulfilment. The Solar Eclipse on the 17th may bring changes at home or within family dynamics, signalling the need for emotional honesty. Creative and emotional expression are strong themes as the month goes on, which can heighten romantic vibes, inspiration and your desire to enjoy life more fully. However, Mars does forge a jarring right angle to Uranus in the last week, and an issue that has simmered can surface.
Sagittarius 23 November – 21 December
Important conversations and journeys feature early on. Your words can be supercharged from the Solar Eclipse of the 17th, but watch spreading yourself too thinly in the following six months. Home, family and emotional foundations are highlighted later in February. While Mercury’s retrograde from the 26th suggests patience is needed, the month can end on a hopeful note, with optimism returning around personal and domestic matters as your ruler Jupiter chimes beautifully, and potentially fortunately, with Venus in the last week.
Capricorn 22 December – 20 January
February keeps you mentally engaged, Capricorn, with conversations, ideas and plans flowing thick and fast. Pisces influences soften communication, encouraging compassion and understanding. The Full Moon on the 1st highlights shared finances or emotional commitments, bringing an important matter to light. Saturn’s move into Aries mid-month begins a longer-term focus on home and family responsibilities. The Solar Eclipse on the 17th may shift financial priorities, helping you recognise what truly matters. By the end of the month, steadier ground is found.
Aquarius 21 January – 19 February
The Solar Eclipse in your sign on the 17th makes February a pivotal month for you, Aquarius. This marks a powerful new beginning connected to identity, confidence and personal direction. Early in the month, the Leo Full Moon highlights relationships, showing you where balance is needed. Pisces energy later on draws attention to finances and self-worth, encouraging you to value your skills more highly. Changes may feel sudden at times, but they are steering you towards a more authentic version of yourself.
Pisces 20 February – 20 March
With several planets moving through your sign as February unfolds, this can place you firmly at the centre of events, Pisces. Mercury and Venus enhance charm, creativity and emotional insight, though Mercury’s retrograde from the 26th suggests reflection rather than haste. The Full Moon on the 1st highlights work or health matters, encouraging adjustments that support your wellbeing. As the Sun returns home on the 18th, your energy and confidence rise. This is a month of ends and beginnings, where listening to your intuition helps you step into a new personal cycle with grace.
