The man who produced The Producers, Mel Brooks, is 88 today. He became one of the most successful film directors of the 1970's. His best known films include; Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein and Robin Hood: Men in Tights. Cancer, Mel is one of the few folk to have won an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar and a Tony award.
