Mars has started a retrograde, which in Sagittarius will go on until late May. The desire to be a free spirit can be tested by this, but perhaps not as much as the enervating and potentially trickster influence of Neptune, which continues to square Mars. Don't promise more than you can deliver and be sceptical about other people's claims. For your FREE Weekly Horoscope 18th April 2016 please see below…
Weekly Horoscopes
Aries 21 March – 20 April
Mercury begins the second of its annual retrogrades in Taurus, but despite this he does forge a fab angle to deep Pluto through to midweek. On the face of it this should help us to make some penetrating observations or connections, and in your case, around career issues or finances. But with your ruler tangling with Neptune, not everything may be as it first appears.
Taurus 21 April – 21 May
Your ruler Venus is side by side the restless energies of Uranus virtually all week and someone from your past could make an evocative and unexpected re-emergence into your life. Then again, you may find yourself becoming more restless in an existing tie. Either way, this week's Full Moon could push you to look at issues that up to now you have been resisting.
Gemini 22 May – 21 June
Your creativity can be very high this week, but you probably have more to gain by linking with others than you do by going it alone. The trick is going to be in carefully choosing your partners. You can find yourself attracted to much more rebellious and free-spirited people, but it's the impression you create with more conventional types that's really going to be key.
Cancer 22 June – 23 July
You can be one of the most organised members of the zodiac, but if you've been tolerating a situation professionally, which has been putting you under too much pressure you may find yourself yearning for an escape route. A new possibility can really excite, but do stay realistic and check out the feasibility of anything, and especially strands which are more creative.
Leo 24 July – 23 August
Your professional expectations are raised, but the Full Moon of Friday reminds you of the importance of a good work-life balance. Yet, whether it's at work or at play there's part of you that can crave a complete change of scene. The more stimulating companions are, the more you're going to enjoy things, though this can introduce a note of unpredictability.
Virgo 24 August – 23 September
The first half of this week sees your ruler continuing its fantastic alliance with Pluto. Use this to counteract a rather dreamy Mars Neptune link, and be determined to be clear and factual around any more formal matters when your natural discrimination can be an asset. This can also be a time when you actively think about opening up your horizons, travel and holidays.
Libra 24 September – 23 October
Your ruler Venus combines with the unpredictable energies of Uranus. This encourages you to try to liven up a romantic tie, or if you are single right now, to live in the moment. With the Sun joining Mercury in your zone of ends and beginnings, and long-term finances, the Full Moon can prove to be critical for both and for the depth of feeling you do or don't have in love.
Scorpio 24 October – 22 November
Your sector of relationships is stimulated in more ways than one this week. However, in an existing tie who does and contributes what in terms of domestic chores can be just as important as any more thoughtful and caring interactions. If you have been on a strict diet, temptation can mount under pressure from Mars's continuing clash with the dreamy Neptune.
Sagittarius 23 November – 21 December
With Mars in your sign slamming on the brakes and going into retrograde, and Saturn also in Sagittarius angling with Uranus and Venus, part of you which loves independence and freedom to do as you wish needs to be balanced against more sensitive considerations, especially around home, family and personal issues. Some sacrifices may be needed.
Capricorn 22 December – 20 January
The Sun moves into a more playful part of your horoscope joining with Mercury, and this combination can help to energize you and also if you are wanting to be more self expressive. The latter's link to Pluto can enable you to articulate yourself really well. Yet a past issue or underlying anxiety can still impact on a personal or more romantic tie. Do you stick or twist?
Aquarius 21 January – 19 February
The changeable influence of your modern guide planet, Uranus, can see your mind racing with possibilities, and your phone pinging with invitations. Socially, you can alternate between buzzing with verve one minute and the next wondering if you need a little more time and space for yourself. Long term finances do need some careful thinking about, however.
Pisces 20 February – 20 March
Venus is egged on by the rebellious vibes of Uranus, and this could see you in the mood to indulge – whatever any previous commitment to moderate your desires. This could lead to an unexpected and rather steamy clinch, or splashing out on a new luxury item. At work, clarity needs to come before ambition or the desire to claim the limelight, Pisces.
